Thanks for the read! I am glad that my comments were passed along. Too many times, the kind words that people say get lost in the din. (another reason why Langham is different, someone actually passed along a compliment!).

A colleague passed this to me from the US and I am based in HK. I work for Langham and I was heartened to read your comments. I don't normally respond to posts but you're right about our people and that's what makes this such a great company to work for!

Your insightful comments about not being forced is key here - hospitality / meetings are people businesses and we should be interested in people and their needs.

While I am not in sales, I am in its 'evil twin' function - marketing - and I believe that it's not necessarily the quantity of contact you have with someone, but the quality of the interaction.
